Jacob turns the big 1-7!!

This is our amazing son Jacob who always has a smile on his face and makes you smile too. He turned 17 on Jan. 27, he was born the day before my birthday and is the only one that I can't remember one thing about his birth. I stressed out my back really bad and they put me on some heavy pain meds that made me forget everything...very sad, but maybe that is why he is always so happy :) We are so happy that he is in our family, he is a great big brother to his siblings and a good example to us all to always keep a smile on your face. Jessi, Scott and Sam
Kari, Annie and Daniel...Kari is Jacobs girlfriend and the kids adore her!Scott's daughter Karli helping me get dessert ready...let me tell you I have quite a time with her and Kari here at the same time!! An afternoon with the Townsend's

We were so excited when Jessi told us that Cort, Kim and Kate were coming to visit. We were able to spend the afternoon getting caught up and spending time with this cutie pie! She was a little overwhelmed to start out but warmed up to the kids and crowd rather well.Like she hadn't had enough presents, but she knew what to do.Look at those baby blues!
Sorry just a few pics of her...she is such a doll. She actually got along really well with Jack

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!!

So we had everyone but Jessi and Scott over for Christmas morning....big crowd...lots of fun!! The madness begins!!Sam drew this picture for Mandi...she cried! The car we got Jack was a hit, he sat in it most of the day, and as Mandi says, it is the best babysitter in the world!!Eric and I taking pictures of each other taking pictures Sir Daniel Knight of the house...it was all about dragons, knights and castles for him this year. The Christmas Day Wii competition....hours of it!
Look at that face, couldn't you just eat him up!!Just a little overload for Jack, he didn't quit know what to do with himself by about noon.Daddies girl!Annie got a hold of my camera and decided to take about 100 pictures...these are a few (maybe we have a future photographer in the family)

We had such a blast, Jessi, Scott Karli and Walker came over later that day too, we had a wonderful dinner and played games. I am so thankful for my wonderful family...that they are all close and that we get to see them so often, it is truly what life is all about!
