Kathryn Jayde....Little angel.
Last week (the last 9 months, I should say)gave our family ANOTHER one of life's lessons that make you learn the kind of lessons that most of us would never choose. Jessica informed us in the spring that she was expecting a baby, we were sad for the situation but glad in her choice to place her baby girl for adoption. She chose a wonderful couple to place her baby with. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Oct. 29th at 4:24 am.Jessi was such a trooper and did such a good job. Kate was 6.8lbs and 19 inches long. She had a few breathing issues at first and had an infection that she had to be treated with some antibiotics. She is strong and healthy. Jessi brought her home on Saturday and we were able to spend some time with her before she went and signed papers. We are so proud of Jessi and the strength that she has shown through this extremely difficult process. Cort and Kim (the adoptive parents) are going to be wonderful parents that will give her all the blessings of the gospel, we have grown to love them like family and are thankful to them for what they will give Kate. As we grieve,we also rejoice at this new beautiful girl that will always be a part of our lives and will be such a blessing to life of such wonderful people.
Perfect angle...
She is loved...
Loving mother...
For the love of a child...

We love you, Jessi! We'll be thinking of you often as you work through this incredible challenge.
Kate is beautiful and so are you!
Hi, I'm Cort's cousin Alisa. I saw your comment on their blog and was so excited to see the pics of the baby. Would you pass along our thanks to your amazing daughter? I can only imagine the strength and love it takes to make this choice and I know this little baby will be sooo loved by Cort and Kim. They are amazing people and will shower Kate with everything she needs. Much love and God bless.
These pictures really touch my heart, Karen. I think you are all very brave.
