Thankful for...

My friend Valerie posted a new thing every day for a month on her blog of things she was thankful for. I have been inspired by her, I didn't do a month but here goes.
I am thankful for...
My family,
My amazing husband, who works endlessly, is an awesome dad, and wonderful friend that I never tire of spending time with and talking to.
My wonderful kids, who accept me for who I am...flaws and all, I fail daily at so many things, they forgive me often and I hope they know I try and do better. Each one of them bring me joy in some way and I am proud of each of them. I can't imagine my life without them.
My parents, they raised me in the gospel, set a great example of service throughout their life, taught me responsibility and have always been supportive of me, even when they disagreed with my choices.
My extended family and friends, they have always been there for me with an encouraging word, unbelievable support and constant prayers, thank you!
This wonderful land that we live in. It is amazingly beautiful. I am in awe as I have traveled to many parts of our nation and each has such a different kind of beauty, there are parts that I would Not want to live in but they still hold a certain beauty that I respect and enjoy. Also the freedoms that we enjoy being a part of such a great nation. Even with it's many flaws and changing times we are so blessed to live here.
For health, I feel so fortunate to enjoy good health and have my children be healthy also. As we have had to take Annie to Children's every other month for check-ups for her JRA, as much as I hate watching her suffer with this, I feel blessed that this is all that she has. There is so much sickness and pain that people go through on a daily basis and I am so thankful for good health.
There are so many other things that I am thankful for that I take for granted everyday that many people don't have, heat...I HATE being cold, running water, a wonderful home, cars, clothing and coats, the ability to walk in a grocery store and buy what ever I need, my kids ability to get an education, phones to talk to my family and friends and know how they are, computers and the Internet, again to stay in touch with people and to have the wealth of knowledge that it holds at my fingertips. There are many more, too numerous to name.
Mostly I am thankful for the Gospel in my life and my Savior Jesus Christ that will always be there to give me peace and comfort when times are hard, because I know that there will always be trials and things can seem hopeless, but I know he will help me through.

Congratulations! You have a wonderful family, I'm a witness of how much Eric works day and night to provide for this family. I really enjoy the thoughts of gratefulness. Our beloved America needs more people who understand the meaning of Gratitude. I really Enjoyed to see the pictures of Mexico. I had the opportunity to travel with Eric once to Mexico and visit some places, the whole time he was talking of his son and how cool it will be to show his boy all these places. I'm glad they were able to go down there and have fun.
Happy holidays!!!
