Crazy, Wonderful week!!

The last week in January was busy!! We started off celebrating Jacob's 16th birthday. He is such a great kid and we are so glad that he is a part of our family!! He got his license the next day and has been buzzin' around in his little RED car since. He had a job last summer and bought a car about a month ago and has been WAITING to drive it. He is such a great brother and son, We love you Jacob...Happy Birthday! The next day it was my birthday...Annie and Daniel were helping me get ready to skiing with dad.
We had a lot of fun...

that night we took the family to Olive Garden for dinner, it was great to all be together. Jack was hungry!!

Annie had a field trip to the Dinosaur Museum.

This by far was the best part...playing in the water and sand!

Annie wouldn't even come close to the shark, Daniel thought it was COOL!!

After the field trip we ran up to SLC and got to see Kate!! Kim was in town and called to see if we wanted to see her, OF COURSE!! She is such a doll, very happy, and HEALTHY!! Do you think the cheeks run in the family?
Eric doing his magic and singing to her...
Jack learned to sit up!!! I guess he has been but we just got to see him!! I will never get over what a happy good baby he is!
Daniel saving the world...

and building towers!

Makes a little boy very tired....

Daniel doesn't take naps any more and NEVER falls asleep, even on very LONG car rides, so I had to take a picture after a long day when I came in and found him like this, about 2 minutes later his chair tipped over :(

And last but not least....this young man, Elder Brett Taylor returned home from a mission in Calgary, Alberta, Canada....Which makes this young lady do this ALOT!!!

Karen,
How fun that you found me! Your family is beautiful. I still remember babysitting them... how old does that make me now... :) Give lots of hugs from me to Jessi for choosing adoption. I looked back at your photos and it just fills my heart. We love our two adopted kids and we love their birth moms too! Jessi has made a difference in so many peoples lives. It is good to hear from old friends!
