Spring break

We did a low key but very fun Spring break, we went up to Solitude again. It was awesome, we were able to get some great spring skiing in, there was no one there so that was wonderful! It was Easter weekend so we went to church up at Brighton, had a quiet dinner and just laid back and relaxed.

On Monday it was a beautiful day, even though there was tons of snow, the resort had closed, I was so bummed because it was my kind of ski day, sunny and warm...so instead we packed a lunch and headed down to the zoo...well half of Utah had the same idea and we decided not to fight the crowd. We went down town to the Planetarium instead, not the zoo but fun none the less.

We went to Temple Square and wondered around the beautiful grounds, went on top of the Conference center, had a picnic and enjoyed the SUNSHINE!!
It was a nice low key long weekend. Didn't have to travel too far but a wonderful get-a-way!
