Costa Rica!!

Yes I fell out of the blogging world...don't know why but I am trying to get caught up.
Eric and I were able to go on AMAZING trip to Costa Rica that he won from the company that he is with. It was so fun, everything was first class, we were pampered the whole week. It was like being a kid again, you didn't have to think about anything, they told you when to be there, what we were doing and most the time we didn't really even have to decide what to eat. The food was WONDERFUL, the weather was to die for and the company was fantastic!!
We were picked up at the airport and and took a 2 hour drive to our hotel, we stopped along the way and walked across this bridge, these croc's just sit and wait...everyone throws them road kill so they really don't hunt for themselves.
Getting caught up from the jet lag on day one...looks rough :)View from our balcony.Day 2 we went on a Crocodile cruise...our boat man was fearless, remember these are in the wild and hunt and feed themselves! After the Crocodile adventure we went to the most beautiful restaurant up in the middle of nowhere. It had the most beautiful views and wonderful food

Our last stop for the day was at the school in Costa Rica helps sponsor through their Leave A Legacy program, what darling kids!

Our next day we went river rafting, it was so spectacular, you really can't put it into words. I really couldn't take pictures but Eric got alot of fun videos. The scenery was breathtaking, the kind of stuff you see in documentaries, the water on the river was SOO warm so it wasn't like a normal river rafting, you wanted to get in.
Our last day we went to a National park with an awesome beach, it was so beautiful with great wildlife. The water was like bath water again.

You can barely see the little monkey in the tree, they come out at about 12 every day...just in time for lunch. They warned us to keep an eye on our bags because the little monkey thieves will steal them and take them into the jungle.

A little thief stole these crackers from a lady

After the beach we went to another wonderful restaurant with another great view! As always the view was breathtaking! The restaurant was made with a plane like it had run into the side of the mountain, very fun.

Last stop of the day was a zip line trip, we are not talking a little one, they take you up in the middle of the jungle on a tram, the first and second line are only a couple hundred feet, the third is over 1000 ft long, and you are about 150-200 feet in the air...a rush is all I can say. But what an amazing experience.Wonderful view from the top...looks pretty mild but when you down through the trees it is over 100 ft down.

It was a once in a lifetime trip with wonderful memories, and wonderful people. Thanks Synergy, I look forward to Maui next year!
