Bear Lake day.

There is a wonderful group of YOUNG couples in our ward that go on a big camping trip to Bear Lake every year and they invited us to go along, even though we are OLD we have kids their kids ages. So because of scheduling Abbie went up with her friend early and we went up the last day/night. Now we remember why we don't camp... NOT that we didn't have a good time, they are wonderful fun families but the trip went as usual for us.
1.Mom packs up for 2 days ahead, trying to remember everything to bring
2. We get away about 3 hours later than we planned on, not arriving till about 3 in the afternoon, when you only have about a day there this is not a good thing.
3. Annie was in pain the whole way there, poor thing, can't drive 3 hours.
4. Daniel got a horrible fever when we were almost there, later to be diagnosed with strep.
5. Can we say one VERY long night for mom and dad.
6. BUT, Memories were made and all had lots of fun. Too short for all the work, and I really like the old motor home days better.

We definitely need to find a closer lake to go to, it was a really fun trip!
