If you live in Utah I am sure you have heard the song, it is so enticing that it just makes you want to run up to LAGOON, so we did. (PS the artist that sings the song can be found at sonnetmusic.com, I love her!)We had a wonderful day at Lagoon a few weeks ago! Mandi, Kevin and Jack were able to go with us because Kevin had taken the week off work and they did a "stay cation" so we got to play with them a few days. It was so much fun for the kids and us to spend the time with them. I wish so bad that I could find the picture I have of Amanda and I on this very same carousel at Lagoon. She was about the same age and had about the same look on her face. It was fun to take him on his first ride, he LOVED it!

His other favorite thing to do is just sit and watch the kids on the rides, the kid is soooo good, I just can't tell you how easy he is. He was sick on our day out and didn't make a cry or whimper the whole day, no nap, happy as a clam, I love this kid!

Annie and Daniel started off with the EASY rides, Annie is very cautious and this is about her excitement level.

This ride is pushing it for her, it goes a little too high for her

The carousel is same enough.

Daniel loved this one, Annie didn't want anything to do with it.

Another safe one. Daniel also did roller coasters, the pirate ship, and the new Jumping Dragon that Jacob took him on, he thought it was amazing, no one else wanted to go on it with him though it is one of those spinney things. The older kids went on all the big rides, I got to go on as many of them as I could hack and some that finished me off, Eric seemed quite content to just stay with the kids and NOT go on any rides.

So I think the thing that everyone got the biggest kick out of was Jack at the end of the day in the water fountain, it was hilarious!! You could not get him out of the water.

How many adults does it take to put on a 1 year old shoes? Three if it is Jack and he doesn't want to get out of the water!

A couple of times when he was trying to catch the water it went right up his pants and once right in his face...made him smile even bigger.

Daniel wasn't so sure about this whole getting soaked in your clothes thing...

Dad showed him the way though...

And he caught on REALLY fast...loved it too

Two video clips of the day, sorry the Carousel is sideways I was holding the camera myself and couldn't see the screen. You can hear Jack humming in the background, it was so cute.
WE had a wonderful day and were so happy that Mandi, Kevin and Jack could go too. We missed Jessi and Alissa...dumb work!
